How To Run A Traceroute aka Trace An IP Adress

1. Click on start
2. Click Run
3. Type CMD in the dialog box
4. Now in the prompt window type tracert (space) and the name of the address you want to trace. ex: www.google.com
5. Write down the final IP Address from the prompt and head over to IP-adress.com
6. In the box next to the button “lookup any ip” type in the IP Address you wrote down earlier
7. Click on the “lookup any ip” button
8. You should now have a google map of the location
